Structured League Competition: The G.P.L features a clear, season-long structure. Goalkeepers' Premier League runs for six months, with matches taking place every Saturday from 3 pm-6 pm. These are league-based matches with the first 10 Goalkeepers in each category qualifying for the Ultimate UK Goalkeepers National Championship (UUK.GONAC)
Inclusive Divisions: The league accommodates varying skill levels with divisions for amateur, youth, and semi-pro goalkeepers, ensuring competitive balance for all.

Goalkeepers Premier League (G.P.L) is a pioneering initiative designed to revolutionize the recognition and development of football goalkeepers across the globe. As the first dedicated competitive platform for goalkeepers, it aims to spotlight the unique skills, athleticism, and strategic importance of goalkeepers who are often underrepresented in traditional football matches. This innovative league features a dynamic, engaging, and inclusive competition that celebrates the art of goalkeeping while fostering technical skills, psychological maturity, physical match development, and competitive spirit. The G.P.L is structured to provide goalkeepers of all ages and skill levels, from amateur to semi-professional, with a stage to showcase their abilities in a structured, games & season-long format. By integrating unique gameplay elements, such as designated zones and strategic roles for setters, the G.P.L creates a thrilling spectator experience and a challenging environment for participants at the same time creating a pathway for goalkeepers from grassroot to professional clubs.
The concept has proved itself, in two Open Goalkeepers Trial Tournaments (4th October & 1st November 2025 in West Yorkshire), 6 goalkeepers have been scouted to Professional Tier one football clubs. All goalkeepers participating in G.P.L Open Trial Tournaments receive medals while 1st & 2nd positions win a Trophy each.
The difference between MLS Goalkeepers War Championship & G.P.L "Goalkeepers Premier League"
While the G.P.L draws inspiration from the excitement of goalkeeper-focused competitions, it is distinctly different from formats like the MLS Pro Goalie Wars Championship in the United States, which opponents may mistakenly equate it to. The MLS event, part of the All-Star Skills Challenge, is a pure 1v1 duel where two goalkeepers face off directly against each other in short, 90-second rounds, with the sole objective of scoring on the opponent while defending their own goal—typically through throws, kicks, or drop-kicks, without any additional players or structured teamwork. In contrast, the G.P.L elevates the format into a more collaborative, competitive and realistic simulation of traditional football by incorporating two setters per match (one team per goalkeeper, effectively creating a 3v3 dynamic with the opposing side). These setters act as defenders, retrieving balls, facilitating rebounds from the central rebound/setter zone, mounting pressure on the goalkeepers after every 5 seconds when the goalkeepers come in contact with the ball (rebounds, dead balls, setters' balls) and even taking corners to set up scoring opportunities—mirroring how goalkeepers interact with backline and attacking players in a full 11-a-side game. This teamwork element introduces tactical layers absent in the MLS version, such as coordinated plays and defensive support, while rules like no three consecutive shots prevent repetitive individualism and encourage strategic involvement of setters.
Furthermore, the G.P.L's three-zone pitch design—comprising two dedicated goalkeeper zones and a central rebound/setter zone—adds spatial and positional complexity, allowing setters or goalkeepers to utilize rebounds dynamically, which fosters a game flow closer to authentic match scenarios. The MLS Pro Goalie Wars, however, operates on a simpler split-pitch setup where keepers must remain on their respective sides without designated rebound zones or assistant roles, resulting in a more isolated, head-to-head skirmish rather than a team-oriented contest. Matches in the G.P.L also extend to 14 minutes each half (two-minute break) for sustained intensity and development, unlike the brief, burst-style rounds in MLS events. These innovations make the G.P.L a unique evolution, not a replication, positioning it as a bridge between individual skill showcases and traditional football, thereby offering greater value for goalkeepers growth and spectator appeal for the league.

You send us up to 2 full game videos. We will study and assess. We will compile a professional scouting report noting strengths and weaknesses and say how the Goalkeeper can improve, identify current level of performance, and recommend the pathway. Includes a full personal online presentation of report and analysis by our G.P.L Performance Analysis Coaches including key moment video clips. Our G.P.L Performance Analysis Coaches will also discuss with you what your next steps might be and how you can progress your game including how our contacts in the game may be of use to you. The presentation and discussion lasts around an hour.
CHAMPIONSHIP £250
You send us 1 full game video. We will study and assess. We will compile and send to you a professional 11-page scouting report noting strengths and weaknesses and say how the player can improve, identify current level of performance, and recommend next steps.
Objective training should be informed by Performance Analysis.
